A mentalism classic that you can now carry with you for close-up situations. The magician shows two slates, completely blank. A spectator signs one of them and then selects a card from the deck. After shuffling, the magician reveals that the selected card is written on the back of the signed slate. Amazing!
These spirit slates are very versatile and you can do many different routines with them. At the end of the effect, you can let them examine them. Only the slates are included and they measure 11 x 8.5cm and are 0.8cm thick. Get ready for the show!
The magician introduces two black slates, blank on both sides. One side of the slate is signed by the spectator by white chalk. The slates are placed together, on the table. A card is then selected by the spectator from a deck, noted and returned to the deck. The deck is thoroughly shuffled and kept aside. The top slate is removed. The signature of the spectator is verified. Hey presto! It is seen that the name of the selected card is written on the other side of the slate.
