Now, the trick: the magician (or spectator) inserts their finger through the holes in the top and bottom cards, and the middle card magically passes through the finger. Effect
Three cards are shown both face up and face down, all with a coin-sized hole in them. The magician groups the three cards together and separates the outer ones, leaving the one in the middle shifted upwards. Once this is done, the magician (or the spectator) inserts their index finger through the hole in the bottom and top cards, which is magically pierced by the middle card. The finger is then removed and the integrity of the three cards is shown again.
