The Joker isn't just a wild card; with this trick it can do a perfect Impression of literally any card in the deck. Hidden inside the depths of Max Maven's published works is a diabolical effect that will make your audience question reality. This is Impressions by Max Maven.

Here's what happens
✔ You introduce the Joker from a blue deck of cards, and remove the ace, two, and three of spades from a red deck. Just by coming near those cards, the Joker transforms into each value in turn.
✔ Then a spectator freely selects a card from the red deck and the Joker transforms into that exact card. To prove there's no force, the spectator can freely name any red‐deck card and the Joker will instantly become it.
✔ In an ending your audience will never see coming, when the Joker is placed alone in their hand it becomes completely blank and fully examinable.
