Mysterious Thread Phone

A unique and clean trick using a string earphone.

Fill one glass with a coin and hold the other glass upside down. When playing with a string earphone, you have to tighten the string, and when the string is stretched vertically, the coin appears in the glass on the opposite side. Nothing remains in the glass containing the coin.

At first glance, there is no sign of any gimmick, but the simple and ingenious string phone trick allows for a clean effect that can only be interpreted as if the coin actually passed through the string. It is also possible for one of the glasses (the receiver) to be held by the audience, allowing spectators to experience with their own hands the moment when the coin passes through the glass.
