Purse Box is a unique and meticulously designed coin system developed by Juan Colas and Magic’s Express. The project began in 2024, and after more than a year of careful design, testing, and refinement, we are proud to present a coin box created to make a powerful magical impact.
This special design offers a fresh and distinctive take on the classic coin box, allowing you to perform clean and direct coin magic with minimal handling and maximum clarity. Every detail has been carefully refined to create intuitive handling, smooth operation, and a truly magical experience.
Why “Purse Box”?
Traditional coin boxes often come apart when carried in a pocket or purse. The lid and base can easily separate, the pieces rattle against each other, and the coins inside cannot be stored securely.
The “Purse Box” solves this problem thanks to its screw-on lid, which allows the lid to be screwed tightly onto the base. The box remains securely closed during transport, and the coins are safely stored inside, making it a practical accessory for professional performers’ daily routines.
Effect
A coin is placed in plain view inside the box. The audience clearly sees both the coin and the box at all times; your hands never hide the action or block the view.
The lid closes snugly, without any suspicious movements or sleight of hand to remove the coin.
When the box is opened again, the coin has completely disappeared. You can show that the box is empty both inside and out.
From there, coins can also enter the box invisibly one by one, and later disappear and reappear individually.
